Team Capsules: Lane Tech

SCOUTING THE CHAMPIONS:  The Champions made their first ever appearance at the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic last season, winning two games -- both by 30-plus point margins.  This year Lane Tech will return three starters and seven rotation players from last year's 20-win team that were co-champions of the Chicago Public League Red-Northwest Conference.  6'10" Dalton Scantlebury, who set the all-time HC Squared tournament record for field goal percentage at last year's event, returns as Lane's top scorer and was named All-Conference and All-City Honorable Mention.  Others players to watch include 6-8 senior wing Zach Mazanowski, 6-7 junior Matt Szafoni, 6-4 senior Drew Bartolai, 6-5 senior Luka Pinto, 5-11 senior Brayden Rosenkrantz, 5-11 senior Kenny Rosario, and 6-4 senior Dylan Pepper.
