ROUND PAIRINGS ANNOUNCED
Opening round matchups for the
5th Annual Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic have been announced.
This year's event features a record number of pre-season ranked teams
and highly rated players.

NUMBER OF RANKED TEAMS
Twelve of the fifteen Chicago-area teams in
this year's Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic were ranked among the top
squads in the pre-season rankings, making this year's edition of HC
Squared the most competitive field in the history of the event.

CHECK THOSE DATES FOR DECEMBER 2019
For the first time in its tournament history, the 2019 Hinsdale Central
Holiday Classic will start before the Christmas holiday. The
four-day, 32-game event will begin on Monday, December 23; and then
continue for three consecutive dates: Thursday, December 26; Friday,
December 27; and Saturday, December 28.

TWO NEW TEAMS JOIN HC SQUARED
Two new teams, from conferences not
represented in the returning field, will join the Hinsdale Central
Holiday Classic this December. Lincoln-Way Central and Thornton
Fractional South will participate with the fourteen returning teams for
the 5th Annual event. Lincoln-Way Central, coached by Bob Curran,
who returns all five of its starters from this past year, had a
varsity starting fivesome that was made up entirely of sophomores.
Lincoln-Way Central is a member of the Southwest Suburban Red
Conference. T.F. South, has a new head coach in Todd Gillespie.
The Rebels won 19 games last season and play in the South Suburban Blue
Conference. The sixteen team field at this year's Hinsdale Central
Holiday Classic represents teams from fifteen different conferences.
