HINSDALE, Ill. –Champ Parker and Amir Danforth combined to score 49 points and lead Rockford Auburn to the third-place trophy at the 2025 Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic with a convincing 88-49 win over Morgan Park.

The two teams traded buckets to start the contest before Rockford Auburn (9-5) opened things up, outscoring the Mustangs 29-0 for the remainder of the quarter fo lead 31-2 after one. The Knights led 51-23 at the half and led by as many as 43 points on route to the 88-49 victory.

Rockford Auburn shot 52.4 percent (33-of-63) from the floor, including 33.3 percent (8-of-24) from downtown. The Knights capitalized on Morgan Park (7-4) turnovers, scoring 45 points off of 25 turnovers. The Knights also outscored the Mustangs 45-10 on the fast break.

Parker led the Knights in the win with 25 points while finishing a perfect 10-of-10 from the field. Danforth totaled 24 points while shooting 9-of-16, including 4-of-10 from downtown. Danforth, who earlier this week became the tournament's all-time leading scorer, earned all-tournament honors. Darian Royal added 16 points and Mikwan Marshall flirted with a triple-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

Morgan Park shot 35.3 percent (18-of-51) from the floor, including 31.8 percent (7-of-22) from three-point range. Jaque Lewis was named to the all-tournament team after leading the Mustangs with 21 points and seven rebounds in the loss. Daniel Wallace chipped in with nine points.
