HINSDALE, Ill. - Mustaf Rexhepi (18) and Collin Tobin (17) combined for 35 of Niles North’s 61 points in the Vikings 61-36 win over Lincoln-Way East in the opening round of the 2025 Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic.

Niles North (10-2) led wire-to-wire, holding a 32-point advantage (57-25) with under two and a half minutes left in the third quarter. 

Lincoln-Way East was led by KaiJay Brown who finished with 10 points. As a team, the Griffins shot 38.2 percent (13-of-34) from the floor and 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from downtown. 

Rexhepi added 10 boards and four steals to his stat line, while the Vikings turned Lincoln-Way East’s 26 turnovers into 40 points. Niles North shot 40.4 percent (21-of-52) from the field and made the most of its trips to the foul line, shooting 72.7 percent (16-of-22). 

Niles North will take on the winner of the Plainfield East/Rockford Auburn game on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 5:15 p.m. Lincoln-Way East will face off against the loser of the same game at 11 a.m. in the consolation bracket.
