HINSDALE, Ill. –For the second straight year, Brother Rice has earned a spot in championsip game of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic. The Crusaders earned their spot in the 2025 Championship game by defeating Morgan Park 54-41 in Monday's second semifinal.

Brother Rice (10-3) grabbed a 17-10 lead after the first quarter and never trailed the rest of the way. The Crusaders led by as many as 16 points in the second half before finishing with the 13-point victory. Aiden Henderson and Adam McBrearty led the Crusaders with 12 points apiece. Zach Grabowski added nine points while JJ Manos scored seven. Brother Rice shot 48.7 percent (19-of-39) from the floor in the win and ourebounded the Mustangs 37-28.

Morgan Park (7-3) shot just 26.0 percent from the field (13-of-50) and 30.0 percent (6-of-20) from downtown. Daniel Wallace and Jacque Lewis led the way for the Mustangs, finishing with 14 points apiece in the loss.

Brother Rice will face St. Laurence in tomorrow's championship game at 8:30 p.m. Morgan Park will play Rockford Auburn in tomorrow's third-place contest at 7:00 p.m.
