HINSDALE, Ill. - St. Laurence secured a spot in the semifinals of the 2025 Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic with a 55-28 win over Burlington Central.

After a back-and-forth first quarter that was even at 14-all, St. Laurence (12-1) surged in front, outscoring Burlington Central (6-4) 16-7 in the second quarter to lead 30-21 at the half. The Vikings limited the Rockets to only seven second-half points while pulling away for the 55-28 victory.

St. Laurence shot 47.9 percent (23-of-48) from the floor and won the rebounding battle 35-23 while also outscoring the Rockets 34-14 in the paint. Reggie Stevens pacced the Vikings with a game-high 17 points while shooting 7-of-14 from the floor and also collecting six rebounds. Markese Peoples scored nine points while Jacob Johnson added eight points.

Burlington Central shot just 27.0 percent (10-of-37) from the field and only 15.4 percent (2-of-13) from three-point distances. Patrick Magan and Bennek Braden finished with six points apiece to pace the Rockets in the loss.

St. Laurence will take on the winner of the Niles North/Rockford Auburn game in Monday's semifinal at 7:00 p.m. Burlington Central will face the loser of the Niles North/Rockford Auburn game in the third-place bracket on Monday at 3:45 p.m.
