2021 GAME TWENTY-FOUR RECAP: OSWEGO EAST vs. HINSDALE CENTRAL

Box Score

HINSDALE, Ill. - It can safely be said that they saved the best for last on Day 3 of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic. The showdown between Oswego East and Hinsdale Central was everything basketball fans hope for and more, with the Wolfpack prevailing in double overtime, 59-53, improving to 14-0 this season and advancing to the tournament championship against Homewood-Flossmoor on Wednesday.

In almost identical fashion to their second round matchup, Oswego East sputtered out of the gates and fell behind in the first half 20-13. The message at halftime awoke the Wolfpack as they stormed out of the gates and roared back in front thanks to a 19-5 run to open the third quarter. Hinsdale Central’s offensive woes contributed to the run as the Red Devils were 3-of-11 from the floor in the third.
