2018 GAME 25 RECAP: Westinghouse 64, Urban Prep Englewood 53

HINSDALE, Ill. – Cinque Simmons and Devin Davis combined for 28 points to lead Westinghouse over Urban Prep Englewood 64-53 in a consolation game of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic.

Westinghouse (9-7) led for nearly 30 minutes, taking an early lead and never looking back. The Warriors led 17-9 after the first quarter and extended their lead to 31-19 at the half. The Warriors opened up a 19-point cushion in the third before coasting to the 11-point win.

Westinghouse shot 33.3 percent from the floor, hitting 14-of-42. Simmons led the way with 16 points, shooting 12-of-13 from the foul line. Davis added 12 points and five rebounds while Ryan Brown scored nine points and totaled six rebounds. Juvon Spivey came off the bench to score nine.

Urban Prep Englewood was led by Dillon Harris’ 13 points. Sean Faulkner added 11 points and nine rebounds while Donovan Turner scored eight.
